STEP ONE: INTRODUCTION MEETING

It is important to Torino Construction that you feel confident that our team can create a home that will be a good fit for you and your family. Therefore an informal complimentary introduction is always our first step to learn about your project before deciding to move forward.

STEP TWO: PRE-DESIGN

Determine the location of your new home.

  • Do you own a lot and want a custom home built by Torino Construction?
  • Do you want to choose a lot owned by us from our Land Inventory List?
  • Do you have an area and lot size in mind and want us to acquisition the lot for you?

STEP THREE: YOUR WANTS AND NEEDS

We will ask you to fill out a detailed questionnaire in order to fully understand you and your family’s functional requirements and design preferences. This will tell us your lifestyle, your hobbies, and your passions as well as any practical needs to help us create a home that truly reflects you as a homeowner.

STEP FOUR: THE ZONING BY-LAWS

Each municipality is governed by zoning by-laws that can restrict property lines, square footage, and height restrictions. Part of our process is to do a thorough zoning review prior to the start of your house design.

STEP FIVE: HOME DESIGN

Torino Construction will take into account all the requirements and desires from your Step Two: Pre-Design stage to create your initial design concept. This will be presented to you to show the functionality, beauty, economical green initiatives, and all your particular unique custom features. This first design concept will include:

  • Front Elevation: Rendering and Sketch Drawing
  • Floor plans of all levels including room dimensions with furniture placement.
  • Detailed site plan with your property and all outdoor amenities.
  • Your feedback is then used for the next rendition of the design and many rounds of revisions until you are 100% satisfied with your design.
